London 2003 Coca-Cola Field Trip

Coca-Cola’s Great Britain and Ireland Headquarters in London at Hammersmith provided a formal presentation by the Finance Director in a corporate meeting room. International marketing as well as financial issues were covered. The group was then driven by bus to a Coca-Cola bottling facility in southwest London for lunch and a full tour of the bottling operation with briefings by the bottling facility managers. Participants were furnished safety equipment including special boots, coats, hard hats and eye protective gear. Familiarization with the entire production line was gained. Human resource, safety, environmental, and other issues were discussed at a closing session.
