Edit newsletter, create and maintain the University Honors Program Website:  http://www.valdosta.edu/honors; Work closely with the Honors Program Director to assist in recruiting students and campaign upcoming events, to assist in Honors Program research and development, and to review, analyze and update student databases.

VSU Graduate School, Graduate Assistant, Graduate Admissions Tutor

Specialized in tutoring/assisting students in taking and refining their GRE, GMAT, MAT techniques and scores; Worked closely with staff to advise prospective graduate applicants in admission standards, policies, and regulations.

Center for International Programs, ELI Program, ESL Teacher

Taught English (Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening/Speaking/Pronunciation) at all levels (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced) from Monday to Friday, for 25 hours per week; Specialized in assisting students in taking and refining their TOEFL techniques and scores; Prepared course syllabi and teaching materials for daily instruction (Teaching Portfolio provided upon request); Assessed student placement levels upon entry into the ELI Program, as well as assessed session evaluations on student progress and exit from the ELI Program; Assisted student in cultural orientation on campus and in America.

Encouraged local students in International Study Abroad Exchanges to Pullman, Washington, China, etc.); Volunteered visiting local Elementary Schools, to improve English/International understanding within Kasai City’s school and community.

Taught workshops, hosted seminars, and lectured classes in Japanese Language & Culture, with a specialty in topics such as Orientalism, Chanoyu -Japanese Tea Ceremony, Japanese Flower Arrangement, Beginning Japanese and Chinese Language, Beginning Chinese Calligraphy, Japanese Cooking – Sushi, Kimono Dress, Origami  - Paper Folding Fun, Japanese Art, Patterns of Japanese Culture and Behavior, & Japanese Gardening.
