Can You Help The Weatherman?

Real- World Activity: Boys and girls, I need your help! The weatherman has fallen and hit his head! He is very confused and cannot remember what season comes after Winter. Can you help him figure it out before he has to do his weather report?

Lesson 1 Directions: 1. I will give you a white sheet of paper and crayons. 2. I will ask you to draw a picture thats represents the season Spring. 3. You may draw a picture about what the weather is like during Spring or what kind of activities they do during Spring. 4. Once you are done with your pictures I will ask you to write a sentence about your drawing stating that, "Spring is the time for _______."

Lesson 2 Directions: 1. I will give you a white sheet of paper, construction paper, scissors, and glue. 2. You will use your construction paper to cut out pictures that represent the season Spring. 3. You may use your construction paper to create a picture about the baby animals that are born during Spring or about the flowers or gardens that bloom during this time. 4. Once your are done with your picture I will ask you to write a sentence at the top of your paper about your drawing stating that, "Spring is the time for _____________."
