Class

Coralwood
School and Diagnostic Center is located in Atlanta, Georgia
and is part of the DeKalb County School System. DeKalb County is
located near the City of Atlanta, where the 1996 Olympic Games took
place. Coralwood School offers inclusion classes as well as a
variety of therapies. Coralwood School has its own Preschool
Assessment Team and Audiology Clinic. It also offers a variety of
therapies for preschool and kindergarten children. Coralwood School is
one of very few public schools
to have its own foundation!
My name is Beth Rountree, and I would like to tell you a little bit
about myself. I live in Atlanta with my husband, thirteen year
old son, eleven year old daughter, and a friendly dog named Honey. I
have a B.A. in Psychology from Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass.
While in college, I was Captain of the Women's Swim Team and I also
taught swimming lessons to children with special needs. Everyone in our
family loves to swim, especially in the ocean! When we can't visit the
ocean, we love to explore the Georgia
Aquarium inDowntown
Atlanta!
I
plan to volunteer at Coralwood School and Diagnostic Center until I
secure a position teaching children with special needs. My ultimate
goal is to give children with special needs the solid math foundation
they will need to succeed in and out of the classroom.
Coralwood
School has wonderful Pre-K and Kindergarten Children who love to count
and play math games! This year we will have fun while we
get our
math skills
off to a great start!
