Biographical Information

                    I grew up in Tallassee, AL.  I received my B.S. in comprehensive mathematics education from Troy State University in Troy Alabama.  I received my M.S. and Ph.D. in mathematics from Auburn University under the supervision of Dr. Johnny Henderson. 

                    I am employed at Valdosta State University  as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.

                    I am married to Lamar Reid.  Lamar is employed as the Finishing Superintendent at Langboard, Inc. in Willacoochee, GA.   We were blessed with the birth of our first child, Rena Rebecca Reid, on January 23, 2001.  We were blessed again by our second daughter, Callie Neal Reid, on February 20, 2003.  Our son, Jacob Lamar Reid, was born February 6, 2006.  We reside in Lakeland, Ga.  We also have a 2 Dalmatians:  Maggie and Simon.
