This
president was known as the author of the Declaration of
Independence. He was also the minister to France before he became
president. He is the only president who has his home on the back
of his coin. This president also is known for expanding our
territory further than any other president through the Lewis-Clark
expedition in which we purchased the Louisiana Territory. This
president's face also appears on Mount Rushmore.
