The Blazin' Brigade Marching Band (MUSC 3880) meets only during the Fall Semester and is open to all students, who play band instruments. The Brigade Drum Line consists of snares, tenors, bass drums, cymbals, and pit players. All instrument assignments are made during the first day of band camp. The goal of the band is to place everyone who auditions on the instrument for which they are best suited and which they will enjoy playing. Auditions are conducted by percussion section leaders who make section assignments in consultation with the Director of Bands. For further information, contact The Director of Bands at VSU.
