MUSIC DEPARTMENT SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Music scholarships are available in all areas of applied music study. Auditions may be scheduled by contacting J. David Morris, Area Chair/Percussion Studies at Valdosta State University. Phone 229-333-5813. Only those scholarship applicants who have applied to VSU as full time music majors will be considered for scholarships. TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE FOR PERCUSSION STUDENTS

APPLIED MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS - Financial assistance available for all music majors.

ELENE DORMINEY MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP - Substantial assistance for all music majors.

ROBERT BARR MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP - Assistance for students participating in the Jazz Studies program.

BAND ASSISTANCE - Financial Assistance is also available through the Band. For information contact the Director of Bands at VSU.

An invitation is open to you to call us at 229-333-5813 and arrange a scholarship audition. We can arrange a variety of visitation activities, including a free private lesson with a member of the VSU percussion faculty.
