A. How to
open your VAT account
1. Using Internet Explorer 7, open VAT
website at http://vat2.uga.edu VAT works best with Internet Explorer 7. (If you do not have
Internet Explorer 7, you can download it
for free at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx).
2. Enter your username and password (your
username is the first part of your VSU email, such
as djudd) & (your
password is the last 7 digits of your student ID number,
if the student number
is 870-123-456 then the last 7 digits are 0123456).
B. How
to Access
the User Profile
1. Click
on “User”
at top of page, then select "My
Profile" from the dropdown window.
2.
An editing
window will open and you can complete
the form. Then select “Save”
at bottom of page.
C. How
to Upload a
Video File
1.
Click on “Video”
at top of page and select “Upload a Video
File.” (A certificate window may
open, select “Accept” to continue.)
2.
The Upload Video page opens to locate your video
file. Select your video file and the
>> to move your video file to the Remote System table.
3.
Then select the “Add Uploaded Videos to My Collection”
button.

D. How to View
Your Video & Make Comments
1.
Click on “Video”
at top of page and select “View My Collection.” Select the video file that you want to view
and select “Comments” from the drop
down menu.
2.
The Analyze Video page will open. You can
play your video and select the clips
that you want to save and make comments. To
select clips:
a. Click on green
arrow to
begin
selected clip and the red arrow to end selected clip.
b. Type your comments
in
the comment
box and then click on the small disk icon to save your selected clip
and
comments.
E. How
to Share
Your Video
1.
Click on “Video”
at top of page and select “View My Collection.” Next to the video that you want to share,
click
on the hand holding the key icon.
2.
The Share Video
page will open. From the name list choose the name of the person that you
want to share your video and with the center arrow move
the name to the “Allowed”
column.
3.
Then click “Submit.”
F. How
to View
Your Video Clips & Comments
1.
Click on “Analysis”
at top of page and select “View My Collection.”
2.
Click on the “eyeglasses”
icon next to the name of the video.
3.
Then the View an Analysis
window will open and you can select your video clips and comments to
view.
G. How
to Share
Your Video Clips & Comments
1.
Click on “Analysis”
at top of page and select “View My Collection.” Next to the video clip & comments that you
want to share,
click
on the hand holding the key icon.
2.
The Share Video
page will open. From the name list choose the name of the person that you
want to share your video and with the center arrow move
the name to the “Allowed”
column.
