"If I Had $20,000 to Spend
on Technology in My Classroom
"

A. What if when you were about to begin your first teaching job and your principal came to you and said that he/she heard you were good at integrating technology into the elementary curriculum.  Then the principal stated that he/she had $20,000 to give to any teacher that would present a plan to use the $20,000 that would show they could enhance their elementary curriculum with technology.

B. Since you would like to have the $20,000, you will need to select the technology that you want in your classroom, such as computers, any type of technology hardware, software, etc.  You can be a teacher at any grade level from pre-k to 5th grade.  Your classroom is a new addition and does not have any technology.  Your new classroom does have only the basic classroom furniture that includes a teacher's desk, students' desks, and bookshelves.

C. List what you would purchase and about how much it would cost.  Show your list to your principal and explain how you would integrate technology into your elementary curriculum if you could purchase the technology products on your list.
