Below are Directions if you are Still Having Problems with your
Background
Showing Up
If you are still having problems with your
background showing up after you have moved your background image to the
server with Secure Shell then continue with the following directions.
- Open your web page in
Mozilla Composer, on toolbar select Format then Page Color and
Background. The Page Colors and Background window opens, see
screenshot below.
- Delete everything in front
of the name of the background image (as circled in yellow below).
Then the example would be: bgschoolbus2.jpg
- Select Advance Edit button
(below the name of the background image). A window will open with
three tabs at the top. On the first tab, select the name of your
background image and delete everything in front of the name of the
image, like you did in the step 2 above.
- Click on the second tab
and delete the information, except leave the url(name of image) for
example: url(bgschoolbus2.jpg)
- Then select OK and the
Page Colors and Background window will close. Then publish your
page. (When you check your background on the Internet don't
forget to reload.)
