Step One:
Introduction
Working with whole
class, explain to
students that they are going to use the Promethean Board or SMART
Board to learn
about things that stay in the sky
and things
that return to the Earth.
List 2 or more
questions that introduce students
to your Mini-Research Lesson and will establish a
connection to students' prior knowledge.
1. "What are some things that you have seen
in the sky during the day?" and "What are some things that you have seen
in the sky at night?"
2. "Can you name some things that are in
the sky and don't come down? "
