About Me
I am 29 years old. I am a wife, mother and student. When I grow
up, I want to be a teacher. I am a junior in the Early Childhood
Education program at Valdosta State
University. Being a teacher will
allow me to have nearly the same schedule as my children while still
making a positive impact in the lives of other children. Not to mention
a full-time paycheck!
I am a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church in Quitman, GA. I
pray that others will see Jesus in me.
I enjoy being with family and friends. I have a rather large family and
in funny ways we keep growing. We love to extend our family to others.
On holidays, my husband's whole family and mine celebrate together, the
funny thing is, WE ALL GET ALONG! This is a huge blessing that I don't
take for granted.
One of my favorite things to do is to find ways to save money in
everyday spending. I use coupons and am passionate about getting the
best deal for everything. Some of the websites that I visit frequently
are: www.couponmom.com www.slickdeals.net www.fatwallet.com
I have a myspace page. Click here
to be my friend!
My Talents and/or
Accomplishments
I love music. I like many different types of music, but I don't
like music with offensive lyrics. I typically listen to positive hit
music (most of which is Christian based). I guess what I was getting at
is, I like to sing. Church is where I am a soloist. I thing karaoke is
fun though! www.klove.com www.wayfm.com
I consider marriage an accomplishment. This is my husband Jared and me
at my brother's wedding. Marriage takes work, and we work hard to have
a great marriage and be good influences for our children.
Children are also an accomplishment. There are many instances as
they grow where as a parent I can say "Mission Accomplished." However,
these are tiny missions that contribute to the huge accomplishment that
I'm striving for in molding them to be the adults that I'd like them to
be.

Something Special That I'd Like
To Do
There are two things that I can think of that I would like to
do. I really would like to be able to play the guitar. I would love to
be able to pick it up and sing my favorite songs in my own key!
(Whatever that is...) I would also love to know Spanish. I took Spanish
in high school, but I really want to be able to speak it
conversationally. I imagine this would be a huge advantage when it
comes to teaching children where English is not their first language.
