This is a book  about one of the five senses.  The look book  examines the sense of sight.  We use our sight for a lot of things.  In the book the story is about a little boy who goes about the day and sees different things.  By the look of these things the boy has an idea of how the material feels.
He also go on and describes the scenery that he passes throughout the day.  He tells the reader the different things that his eyes can see.  He sees different shapes, like sailboats, airplanes, and cars.  He also see different shapes of animals, like the big elephant, and the tall giraffe, and many other things.

Critical Thinking Questions:
1.  What if the look book, was called the touch book, What are some of the things in the story that would be connected to touching?
2.  What are some things you would describe by sight using the words tall, big, wide, and long?
