Hello! and
welcome to my homepage.
My name is Charlene Tisby and I am currently attending Valdosta
State University. I am a Senior majoring in Early Childhood
Education. I have lived in a small southeast town all of my
life.
The town is named Alapaha,
Georgia, and it is an Indian
name. 
Before
coming to VSU I attended Abraham
Baldwin Agriculture College in Tifton,
Georgia. There I received
my Associate Degree of Science in Early Childhood Education, and
Associate Degree of Arts in Psychology in May of 2002. ABAC is a
nice college to attend. The college host many international
students. When I graduate I hope to teach in Tifton, there I had
the opportunity to observe my first class at Annie Belle Clark
Elementary in the Tift County School System.
One of my favorite hobbies I love
to do in my spare time is reading. I like all kinds of books but
I love fiction novels the most. My favorite author is Sydney
Sheldon. I also like to travel to different places. My
favorite place I like to visit is St. Augustine, Florida.
I love
visiting the Ripley's
Believe It or Not Museum. They have a lot
of fun stuff there! I like the Alligator farm there also. I
enjoy the beaches in St. Augustine too. I always feel relaxed and
refreshed after a visit there. One place I would love to visit is
London, England.
My friend visits there often and he talks about
the beautiful sites and landmarks there. I love to go sight
seeing and London, England would be a great place to go sight seeing.
As you may have notice already, I
also love butterflies. They add color and beauty to any day!
