Description of Activity: This is a great acitivity to grab
students attention about fossils and dinosaurs. Most students
already are interested but this will push the other students to get
involved. The students will use a cup of sand and plaster of
paris to create their own dinosaurs footstep. The students will
use large dinosaurs to create the footprint in the sand. Each
student will also have a paint brush to brush the sand off of the
mold.
Assessment: The students will follow oral directions to correctly
create a dinsosaurs foot imprint.

Description
of Activity: This
is a fun and easy activity to help students understand the shapes of
dinosaurs. The students will use a dinosaurs template to create
their very own uniquely colored dinosaurs. On the template the
students will glue colored rice to color in the dinosaurs.

Use the pictures on this website to show the students different
dinosaurs.
