What is the purpose of this
software? Briefly describe how the program works. It allows the user
to take a virtual visit to first grade. You visit a first grade classroom,
participate in lessons, take a tour of the school library, and even go
on two different field trips.

problems did you have using the software? Is it user-friendly? This
software is very user friendly. All the students really love using
it. The colors and illustrations are wonderful. It is fun to use
and I love it.

What is the purpose of this
software? Briefly describe how the program works. This is a multi-subject
piece of software where the students get to attend school with Franklin.
They go to the lunchroom, the theater, and participate in classroom activities.
There are 8 different activities and each can be done at 3 different levels
of difficulty.

problems did you have using the software? Is it user-friendly?
I really didn’t have any problems using this software. I was very
easy to maneuver through and was a lot of fun. This is also one of
the students favorites and was very educational.

What is the purpose of this
software? Briefly describe how the program works. This starts
by going over basic reading skills like letter recognition, the alphabet
and letter sounds. Then is goes into critical reading and developing
vocabulary skills.

problems did you have using the software? Is it user-friendly? This
software was also relatively easy to use. The stories were cute and
fun to read. It’s a fun way to teach reading skills.
I feel this is a good piece of software to incorporate into the classroom.

What is the purpose of this
software? Briefly describe how the program works. This software
teaches math concepts, patterns and shapes, addition, subtraction, measurements,
fractions, and multiplication. The program is designed so that it
can be used by students from age 5-9. There are different levels
of difficulty for each lesson and fun games are used to back up what is
being learned.
Evaluate the software. What
problems did you have using the software? Is it user-friendly? This
also was user-friendly. This was one of my favorites because I have
always enjoyed math and anything related to it. I would definitely
purchase this for use in my own classroom.

This site gives some basic information about the Hopi Indians. It's very interesting.
This is a wonderful website, it tells about everything from Hopi marriages, food, art, clothing, & much much more.
The story behind the use of eagle feathers by the Hopi Indians is told at this site.
Southwest Indian culture is talked about here. The Hopi Indians are included here.

This website gives a lot of valuable information about the Hopi Indians.
This site is all about the Navajo-Hopi land dispute. It is very informative.
This is a great Hopi site. It gives information about the language, location, and history.
This website is dedicated to the a Hopi Chief. It is entitled the Hopi Way. It's very intersting!

Hopi homes are made out of clay becuase they are located in the deserts of Arizona. In order to make authentic looking art projects the class will use crayola modeling clay to create their own version of a Hopi Indian home.
