About Me

My name is Chelsea Rowe. I was born on March 9, 1987 in Albany, Georgia. I have lived in Valdosta most all my life, though.I have a younger sister, her name is Katie. She is a senior in high school. She is the funniest person I know, she always keeps me laughing.  I am an Early Childhood major at VSU. I want  to be a teacher because I believe teachers make a difference in the future. I love working with and watching children grow and learn. My favorite thing to do is go to the beach. I love the beach!! If I could, I would spend everyday laying on the sand and playing in the water. In June of 2005 I met Garrett, and myl ife changed forever. On November 24, 2007 we got married!! It was a wonderful, beautiful day! In January 2008 we went all the way to North Carolina to get the newest addition to our family: a Brittany spaniel puppy that we named Molly!!  We are having a lot of fun trying to figure her out, and keep her from destroying everything!

Some of my accomplishments include graduating from Lowndes High School in May of 2005. My freshaman and sophmore years in high school I was a mat girl for the wrestling team. I had so much fun traveing around the state to different wrestling tournaments. In high school I was also a member of FCA, Class Cabinet and Impact. I started college in the Fall of 2005 and I am currently working on my bachelors degree. I am really enjoying my proffesional semesters, I feel like I am learning lots of great stuff! Places I'd Like to Go
:

I have never been out of the United States, so of course I would love to get on a plane and go anywhere out of the country. The first place I would like to go would have to be a beautiful beach. Maybe Hawaii? I would love to see the white, sandy beaches and the clear blue water. After Hawaii I think would visit Europe! Seeing the Eifel Tower, or riding a boat through Venice would be a trip of a lifetime! I would also like to visit Africa. A few years ago I "adopted"a little boy named Olouch Vincent through an organization called World Vision. I would love to meet him. I have only seen pictures of him, he is adorabe! Each year I get to send him some cards for the different holidays. I also get to send him a birthday card, his birthday is the same day as my dad! I think about him and pray for him everyday!
