The first thing Fuzzy notices are some wild purple flowers. They smell so good.
Fuzzy heard the birds going, “Chirp, Chirp, Chirp.” He was so curious about them, so he climbs the tree to get closer.
As he
climbs down the tree his tummy growls. He
thinks to himself, “I forgot to pack a
lunch. What am I going to eat?”
Fuzzy sees a squirrel and thinks, “I wonder what that squirrel tastes like?” He runs after it in an attempt to end his hunger.
Fuzzy
did not catch the squirrel because he was too
fast. He wobbles to the water fountain
for a taste of some cold water. He
thinks maybe this will calm his hunger pains.
While
taking a break on the swing Fuzzy feels the
cool wind
breeze past his fur.
Later,
there was a loud thump, into the trash can
Fuzzy
goes. He thought he smelt some honey,
instead it was just someone's left over honeybun package.
With an empty stomach, Fuzzy heads back to the swing. He thinks to himself that he hasn't accomplished anything today . . .
. . .
until he sees his friend Maria. Maria
says, “Silly bear, you explored your
five senses today. You smelled some
flowers, heard some birds, saw a squirrel, tasted the water, and when I
gave
you a hug you used your sense of touch.
As Fuzzy left the park he decided that he would eat at home before he came to the park. Then maybe he will be able to enjoy all the things he gets to feel, smell, touch, tastes and see.
THE END.
