Welcome to my learning page!  I am doing my field experience at Clyattville Elementary in Valdosta, Georgia.  I am in Mrs. Copeland's kindergarten class.  Mrs. Gill is the paraprofessional in Mrs. Copeland's class.  We have a great class.  There are 20 wonderful boys and girls in the class.
 
 

Each day, the students come in and unpack to go to breakfast.  After breakfast it's time to work on journals.  We have very creative writers in our class.  Students write about their favorite book, game, song or what he or she did over the weekend.  When journal time is over the students hop to their spot on the carpet for story time.  When the story is over, the class takes a test over the book the teacher read.  Guess What? Together the class makes a 100 every time!
 
 

Mrs. Copeland has excellent classroom management.  Mrs. Copeland and Mrs. Gill work well together.  They are fine models for the students.   I am looking forward to spending this semester with Mrs. Copeland, Mrs. Gill, and the wonderful students.
