COLE'S HOMEPAGE

Section 1: Introduction

- Hello my name is Cole Hunt. I am currently a freshman at Valdosta State University. I plan on graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree. Depending on the major that I choose I may or may not attend a graduate school. The reason I attended VSU was because of great atmosphere. It is sort of far from my hometown, but not to far that I can't drive home whenever I want. I also have many friends that attend VSU and absolutely love it here. I am a very outgoing person. I have a passion for sports; anything that involves physical activity interests me. I like to hunt, fish, and water surf in the summer time. I come from a very small town and have a very close family and community. I have one younger brother who is 17 years old.

Section 2: The Freshman Year Experience

- The Freshman Year Experience is a program here at VSU that help those freshman which have undecided an undecided major. FYE gives these freshman one on one advising and projects which involve exploring jobs and career fields. FYE has help me adjust to the college life. It has allowed me to meet many people and form bonds with classmates. It has also help me develop better study habits by holding study sessions for every class. Because of FYE I will do better both academically and socially while I am attending college. While in FYE I have learned that study habits, internet skills, as well as, communication skills. I would encourage all freshman to go through the Freshman Year Experience.
