Missing Song Lyrics
Real-World Activity:  Music Magic Marty, the songwriter for the band, has gotten angry and quit.  In his rage, he took all the band's music and ripped it to shreds.  Now the band has nothing to play for the big show!  The band needs your help to put the lyrics back together in time to rock the show.  You will need to pick out all the rhyming words to match up the right lyrics to the right song.  If you choose a non-rhyming word the band will be booed off the stage!  It is up to you to save the show!  If you need any help with rhyming words review the rhyming song and help Reggie the Rhino at the zoo.
Lesson 1 Directions: 1. Take out your lyric journal that I have provided for you. 2. I have cut out some pictures that will complete the song lyrics. 3. Take a look at all the cards in your journal. 4. Say the word on the card.  Do they rhyme? 5. Glue the appropriate matching rhyme to finish the song. 6. If they correctly rhyme, you've completed the song and saved the day!
Lesson 2 Directions: 1. Take out your lyric journal that I have provided for you. 2. I have stolen some of the lyrics from Marty before he destroyed them, but they are still missing some pieces.  Look at the underlined word of the sentence.                     3. Complete the rhyme by drawing a picture. 4. Glue the picture into the blank space provided. 5. Write the word underneath the picture. 6. If the words rhymed you have successfully completed the lyrics in time for the show!
