My
name is Courtney
Edmondson and I'm currently a junior at Valdosta State University.
I am in my first block
in the Early
Childhood Education program.
I have hopes of becoming a third grade teacher someday. I have
always enjoyed working with children and I want to make a difference in
their lives as so many teachers have done for me.
I'm
twenty years old and from
Douglasville, GA. I have a wonderful and supportive family which
consists of my mom, dad, and two older sisters. I have two great
loves in my life: shopping and cheerleading. I have cheered
for about ten years and I
even cheered with the Valdosta State Blazer
Cheerleaders for one
year.
At home, I am a brand representative at Justice, a clothing store for
little girls. I look forward to taking the things that I
have learned and
apply them in the classroom. I am
so excited to begin this journey!:)

future teachers I found two websites that may be helpful. Teachers.net is a website that has
free lesson plans, live chat, and lists of possible job openings.
The next site is called Site
for Teachers.
On this site it gives other possible links to other websites that give
options for lesson plans. The site includes free worksheets,
games,
and study tools. Also, parents and teachers may visit GeorgiaStandards.org
to see the Georgia Performance
standards to which the teacher will be
teaching.
