Proposal Format for 2010 GCA Convention

Proposal Submission Guidelines

  1. Please include all of the requested proposal format information for adequate consideration.
  2. You are asked to e-mail a copy of each proposal, then print and mail two (2) hard copies of your proposal to Bill Price, GCA First Vice President, at the address below. All proposal submissions must be emailed and postmarked on or before October 1, 2009.
  3. Notification of acceptance/non-acceptance will be e-mailed by November 13, 2009. You will also receive information from the Editor about APA submission format to GCA Proceedings.
  4. Conference information and registration packets will be mailed by November 15, 2009. You will receive full information about the schedule and accommodation rates then.
  5. All presenters affiliated with educational institutions are expected to register for the convention and are encouraged to join GCA and participate in all conference activities.

LIMITED TECHNOLOGY IS AVAILABLE AT THE CONFERENCE SITE: You must indicate your request for technology in order to be scheduled in a room with presentation equipment. Computer with PC compatible software, DVD drive, USB ports, and Internet connection. External A/V port for laptop computer, Document Camera, DVD and video tape player. The operating system is Windows XP Professional. These PCs are not Mac compatible. However if a Mac user brings a laptop computer, we will do our best to assist you in connecting to the system via the A/V port.
