Call For Proposals

GCA invites proposals from faculty, students, and professionals. Paper, panel, and GIFTS (Great Ideas For Teaching Speech) are invited. Both applied and research-based presentations are sought. We especially welcome submissions from those who are new to the organization.

The official Call for Proposals with criteria should arrive soon in the mail or you can look at the Proposals web page on this site. Proposals will be due on October 1, 2008.

Someting New!

This year we will sponsor a student film contest as a concurrent session or optional part of the conference pending on the schedule. Student entries must be no longer than 10 minutes and must be submitted on DVD. Approval of faculty members may be required, and there may be a limit on the number of entries per institution. Film entries will not be due on October 1, but we would like an indication of your interest in submiting an entry.
