The Georgia Communication Association, through the generous contribution of members' patron dues, supports student participation in the Association's annual convention. This support includes:

Waiver of your convention registration fee
Complimentary luncheon on the day of your presentation
$30 to offset your travel or other expenses associated with convention attendance (payable to you when you register at the convention)

Membership in the GCA is optional for student presenters. If you choose to join the GCA, the annual fee of $10 includes the Membership Directory and Convention Proceedings.

We welcome student members!

To supplement the assistance offered by GCA, we encourage students to seek additional funding from their schools. Many institutions support student conference participation. Please contact your department head to see if additional financial resources are available to you.
