WELCOME TO CALVIN WALKER'S HOME PAGE

     Hello and welcome to my home page.  I am a member of OASIS at Valdosta State University.  I am a member of the Reading Department, the Freshmen Year Experience (FYE), and Supervisor of the Supplemental Instruction Program (SI).  SI is a program designed to hire outstanding students who have personality and pizzazz to sit in on a class that they have performed well in, they in turn will help the present students in that class learn how to read and prepare for the exams and to try and develop a love of learning.  This is accomplished by 2 or 3 SI sessions and 4 office hours per week.  They work with the blessings of the professor of the class.
