Jump into Bridgett's Cheer Zone
By: Bridgett Payne
Hello, my name is Bridgett
Payne!! I am currently a junior at Valdosta State University. I
am enrolled in the Early
Childhood Education Program and plan on graduating in the Spring of
2005. I have worked with children in different settings, but
having a classroom of my own is a goal I can't wait to reach.
Cheerleading has been a big part of my life since I starting cheering
in the eighth grade. I cheered at Ga. College and State University my
freshmen year in college, but I got injured. I am currently
cheering at Valdosta State and am very excited about the upcoming
season. We will be competing in the NCA National Competition in
April. I teach cheerleading camps in the summer for Universal Cheerleaders Association
and enjoy working with the children of different ages and backgrounds.
My junior year in high school I made All-Stars for UCA and had the
opportunity to travel to London,
England. It was such an awesome trip and definitely one I
will never forget. I had the chance to visit many sites while in
London
along with participating in the New Year's Day Parade. My senior
year in high school I traveled to New
York and participated in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with
UCA. It was so much fun cheering and dancing up and down the
streets of downtown New York.
