In
my opinion, teaching is one of the most
rewarding tasks one could undertake. Whether in a traditional
classroom
setting or alternative environment, I believe that teaching is
imperative to
the success of our future generations. My desire to be an
educator stems
from the superior role-models I have had in my life. My parents
and close
relatives have always supported my educational achievement and
goals. I
learned from a young age to always strive for the best and to believe
in
myself. My parents taught me more than I could have ever learned
in a
classroom and I plan to encourage my future students' parents to do
the
same. My parents have been the key to my educational
success; without their love and encouragement, I would not have been
able to reach my full potential.

My previous teachers have impacted my
school
career in a monumental way. Mrs. Mary Paulk (K), Mrs. Mary Ann
Desmond
(1st), Mrs. Nadine Gary (2nd) and Mrs. Catherine Orr (3rd) have all
made a
major impact on my educational progress. Each inspired me to do
my best,
to never give up, and were excellent models of what effective teaching
looks
like and the importance of having a genuine desire to help children
learn. All four
of
these teachers have truly inspired me to teach and I can only hope that
my
performance as an educator could one day come close to the high
standards set
before me by these dedicated professionals.
