I will read this at Christmas time. The students will write a short story about how they would take good care of a reindeer.

A young girl named Teeka has been chosen by Santa to get all of his reindeer ready to fly by Christmas Eve. Teeka is very harsh and bossy and the reindeer don't respond well to her. She finds she needs to let the reindeer show her what they need to do and all goes well.

I could use this book when we are learning the concept of big and little by comparing the sizes of the animals that went on board the ark.

This is Jan Bretts version of the Bible story about Noah's Ark. This is a very good book of animal pictures.
