Dr. Hojjatie’s Course Policy

 

1.     Class attendance is extremely encouraged and expected.  Every effort should be made to attend each session.  Students may be required to provide documentation for a medical condition that results in missing a class or lab.

 

2.     Students are responsible for all materials covered and assigned in class regardless of their absence due to special circumstances.

 

3.     Usually no make-up exams will be given unless in special circumstances.

 

4.     Homework and lab reports are due the beginning of the first session of each week and will be collected periodically.

 

5.     Students are expected to carefully read their text-book/class notes and learn fundamental laws before attempting to solve assigned homework.  Every attempt should be made to solve each homework problem independently before asking for help from another person.  Each student is responsible for understanding/explaining problem statement and solution approach presented in his/her homework.  

 

6.     Final Grades:  90-100: A,

80-89:   B,

70-79:   C,

60-69:   D,

  <60:    F
