I am the Coordinator of the RETP at VSU and Teach Enginnering/Physics Courses.
I teach the following courses at VSU: Engineering Graphics for Design (ENGR 2500), Statics (ENGR 2200), Dynamics (ENGR 3210), Computational Physics (PHYS 3820), Thermodynamics (PHYS/ENGR 4310), Directed Study in Engineering (ENGR 4950), and some semesters: Introduction to Engineering (ENGR 2010), Mechanics of Deformable Bodies (ENGR 3220), and The Universe of Energy (PHSC 1100).

Undergraduate Students Wesley Anderson, Kyle Lovan, Miguel Pena, Matthew Stokley, Alan Gavel, and Chase Johnson presented four reseach projects related to engineering which were supervised by Dr. Hojjatie.

In addition to the outstanding Engineering award received by Caleb Badley, these students received certificates for presentation of their research papers at the Twelfth Annual Symposium on Undergraduate Research on April 6, 2006. Faculty advisors for the undergraduate reseach projects in engineering (two papers one presented by Shayla Graham and another by Caleb Badley) was Dr. Hojjatie, and in Astronomy (presented by Laura Hachmeister) was Dr. Rumstay.

Richard Vaughan receives his 2004 Outstanding Engineering Award from Dr. Chatelain during April 14, 2005 award ceremony at Valdosta State University. These students received certificates for presentation of their research papers at the Eleventh Annual Symposium on Undergraduate Research on April 15, 2005.
