My name is Adrianna
Powell and I am a junior at Valdosta
State University. I am in
the Early Childhood and
Special
Education department
here at the university. I am originally
from Brooklyn, New York where I lived for 15 years, until I moved to
Georgia. I graduated from South Gwinnett High School with a
concentration in education. I have always wanted to be a teacher and
with the support of my family and friends, I will complete my journey
in college with my Bachelors degree in Education and my Master's degree
in School Counseling. Although,
I enjoy working with younger children, I have had experience mentoring
teenagers within the local Valdosta area. I love watching
Spongebob, as you will see
on my page.
I like to write and spend time with my closest friends and family. My family are my life and I am grateful to have such a supporting background. My mother is the strongest woman I know, as well as my most valued friend. I am a big kid at heart and when I find time, I like to go on this website, pogo.com, and play video games! This website offers hundreds of games that one can enjoy over and over again.
I enjoy volunteering and helping out any way I could. I love to travel! I have been to Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Bahamas, St. Martin, St. Thomas, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands, as well as many states within the United States. My hope is to one day tour Europe. There are some many things I can learn about the various cultures of our world that cannot be found in a classroom. In my spare time I enjoy reading mystery novels. Reading is an important factor of my life. My favorite author is James Patterson.
