Hi, I am Mrs. Fowler. I am pleased to tell you a little about my education and interest. pawprint

I have an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences from the University of Georgia, (GO DAWGS!!) and I am currently completing a Master's degree in Special Education from Valdosta State University. I have taught Resource for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades as well as taught 3rd grade in the mainstream classroom. My interest include golf, watching my children's cheerleading competitions, and volunteering with non-profits that improve the lives of women and children. Junior League of Cobb-Marietta

About Resource

Resource provides small group assistance for students who need some additional help in one or more academic areas. This year, we will focus on reading with the 2nd and 3rd grade classes, and mathematics with the 4th and 5th grades. We will be using a program entitled, VISUALIZING AND VERBALIZING! In this program, students are reminded to develop a picture in his/her mind during reading. This program will help greatly with reading comprehension. We will continue with the much loved Rockin' Fridays to reward good behavior and hard work during the week. In mathematics, our inital focus will be on memorizing multiplication tables, and the steps of division. We will also be learning with websites such as BrainPop again this year. Brain POP
