Students will visit the website and research how to care for an iguana. 2. Students will site information and use it to write a paper on iguanas (health, food, cleaning, etc.). 3. Students will write the paper in word and print out. 4. After the papers are turned in the teacher will ask the students to state one fact they learned about iguanas. Product: Students will have typed the paper with the information from the website about iguanas. |

Website and Materials: http://animal.discovery.com/guides/reptiles/iguanas/colorchanges.html Microsoft Paint Procedures: 1. Students will read the web page about iguanas changing colors. 2. Students will then use Microsoft Paint to paint three different pictures of iguanas. Use the information from the website to pick the different colors you will use to paint the iguanas. 3. Describe which traits you learned about iguanas changing colors to show why you picked the colors you did. Product: Students will have learned about why and when iguanas change colors and paint pictures about it. |
