My name is Angela
Gilbert, and
I am a Senior at Valdosta State University. I
am currently working on my Bachelors degree from the Early Childhood and Reading
Education Department.
I have lived in Valdosta, GA for two
years now and really love the community. I look forward to
becoming an intricate part of the teaching community.
My family is very
important to
me. I have been married close to
4yrs now, to my husband John. He is a wonderful husband and
terrific father. He is a pilot for Southwest
Airlines, so he
is on
the road quite often. I stay very busy with our two sons.
Our oldest is Hayden, he was born September 11, 2001. We are very
fortunate to have time and cherish him everyday. Like his daddy,
he has a love for airplanes. He also enjoys swinging on his play
set, watching Buzz Lightyear, and chewing bubble gum. Ethan is
our youngest son, he was born June 3, 2003. He is another
wonderful miracle. He changes daily and constantly demonstrates
new skills. He loves his big brother and Sour Cream and Onion
Pringles. He must have his binky and blanket to go to
sleep. In June 2004 my husband and I dropped the boys off at
Grandma's in Louisiana,
and went on a Carnival Cruise.
We left out of Miami, FL and
made our first stop in the Cayman
Islands. The water
and beaches were absolutely
beautiful. The last stop was Ocho
Rios, Jamaica, another
gorgeous island. We climb a 600ft
cascading waterfall named Dunn's
River Falls. I
enjoyed relaxing with my husband, but I was
very excited to see my boys when we came home.
