Lines
Before
you
start working with parallel lines, you have to know what parallel
lines are. Parallel lines are coplanar lines that do not intercet. Look
the the picture of the road sign above and the outer edges of the sign.
There are two sets of parallel lines. The two horizontal lines are
parallel and the two vertical lines are parallel. The lines in each set
could go on and on forever and would never touch one another; this is
what makes them parallel.
