This page was designed for parents, students, and fellow teachers. These resources provide information and links to fun
and interactive websites in eight content areas that are essential to a student's learning.This web page is a resource for parents and
students that will provide different activities in the different content area that will help them excel in their subject areas.

Content Areas	Grades K-2	Grades3-5
Language Arts	Language Arts Interactive websites provide standards-based cross curricular web resources designed to enhance on line learning opportunities. These sites interact with the user usually through either a text-based or graphical user interface. Online Basic Skill Grammar is a website that is great for students to practice using skills needed to be successful in Reading and Language Arts.The games are an easy way to encourage students to practice numerous basic grammar skills.	Kids Bookshelf provides information on how to read and write, how to study, the abc's of the writing process, and even an online dictionary. The Parts of Speech website offers information on verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and many other parts of speech that student's tend to struggle with.
Mathematics	AAA Math features a comprehensive set of interactive arithmetic lessons with immediate feedback. The website is broken down in to topics and grade level which makes it convenient when you are needing extra help in a certain area. Math for Kids will help with addition and subtraction methods. There is even a handy calculator.	Looking for help to so math problems? Check out World of Math Online. This website will offer definitions of terms; explanations on how to do Basic Math, Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus. You can also practice by doing exercises provided or take a unit test to identify strengths and weaknesses. Math Cats is a site for children that promotes open-ended and fun explorations of important math concepts. Start with the magic chalkboard, then enter Math Cats MicroWorlds (interactive projects). Using this site is a fun way explore the the wonderful world of math.
Social Studies	Time for Kids is a website that is great for parents and students. On this site you can find information about the past. This site also includes a homework helper. Fact Finder gives young students facts about their home state. There are also quizzes that parents can help their children with.	Social Studies for Kids is a site covers that covers history, geography, economics, cultures, current events, holidays, religions, languages, archeology, and many other things. Animated Atlas has various videos about the growth of the United States. These animated videos allows students to play, pause, and rewind videos about the growth of the United States for note-taking.
Science	Factmonster is a website that will provide answers for things that are part of our daily lives but that we never have known the reasons for them like: "Why do we sneeze"?, "Where does ear wax come from"?, and "Why do we snore"? Elementary Science Topics is an interactive website that will provide students with information on things such as: animals, plants, earth, space, and sound. Students will never tire from this site!	Science for Kid's is a website where you can find information about agriculture, animals, dinosaurs, computers, human body, and many other interesting things! Dragonfly is a fantastic website, with beautiful pictures, that provides information on many things such as the life cycle of butterflies, time, space, and flight.
Art	Crayola.com offers several ideas when you want to do an art project. You can color, make cards, and also play games. Kids Domain is a great website that the whole family will enjoy. You can find crafts for any holiday or special occasion.	Clip Art For Kids is a website that will provide students with many different clip art pictures that could help them with school activities or it can be used just for fun. The Kids Page is a website filled with games, clip art, learning activities, puzzles, downloads, and coloring. Children will never get tired of this web page.
Music, Drama, and Dance	Everyone can enjoy music from PBSkids. There are are songs about staying healthy and you can even choose music from your favorite PBS show. Kids Space is a fun place for children to listen to to concerts and learn about music.	Create music is a place for kids to compose music, play with musical performance, and have fun playing with musical performance. Musical Mysteries is an interactive website that allows students to have fun while exploring the basic musical concepts in sound, rhythm, and mood.
Physical Education	Kidnetic is a website that communicates healthy eating and active living information in meaningful and revelant ways to kids and their families. Electri Kids teaches young children the benefits of being fit. There are stories, activities, and a great section for parents that give ideas on how to keep children physically fit.	BAM! is an awesome site that will answer kids' questions on health issues and recommend ways to make their bodies and minds healthier, stronger, and safer. Kids Running teaches students the benefits of running. This website offers fun exercises for children and true stories of inspiration.
Health and Hygiene	Five fun ways to Health and Fitness. This website will provide interactive fun that will give your family information that will be educational and will help you get active. Kids Health is a website for students that provides information on how to keep there bodies strong.	Doles 5 A Day is a site for parents, teachers, and students learning about nutrition and taking care of their bodies. This site explains to kids why it is important to eat healthy. Kids Hygiene gives details to parents and students about personal hygiene. There are great activities to show children how to clean themselves properly.
