Hi, my name is Amy Bennett.
I am 23
years old and I am a senior at Valdosta State University and majoring
in Early Childhood Education. I am from Cairo, GA and have been
living here in Valdosta for the past four years. Family is very
important to me and always has been. I am the oldest of 3 girls
and both my mom and dad have been very supportive in all that I
do. I am also very blest to have the best grandmother that a
person could ask for. She has truly been my inspiration in
wanting to become a teacher. She is very loving and carring and
has always been there for me when I needed her most. Currently, I am
living with my fiance, Eric, and our two year old cocker spaniel,
Charlie. I am very excited to have entered into my first block of
my professional education classes, and look forward to begin working
inside an actual classroom.

**My Talents and Accomplishments**
As far back as I can
remember, I have had some sort of music or art in
my
life. I was a dancer from the age of four years old until I was
18 years old. I was also an active member of my high school
marching/concert band. Dance and music are very much a part of
me
even though I do not necessarily practice the skills every day. I
also have several accomplishments that I am quite proud of. I
graduated from Cairo High School in 2003 with both college prep and
tech prep seals on my diploma. After graduation, I began
attending Georgia
Military College. I graduated from GMC with my Associate Degree
in 2006 and then began working on my Bachelor's
Degree at VSU in spring 2007.
**Something
Special I would like to do.**
I
am very excited about graduating and starting my teaching career.
I also plan on getting married shortly after I graduate and soon after
I look forward to starting a family of my own.
