Furniture is such a big word, so vague. It encompasses so many things, so many smaller categories that are more specific and digestible. I will start out by talking about some of the specific categories of home furniture.
Home furnishings usually describes anything for use in the home. Furniture, decorative accent pieces, kitchen ware, drapes, rugs, basically anything in your house!
Bedroom furniture is another popular category. Perhaps the most emotional purchase is the bedroom furniture purchase. Think about it, you spend many hours of your life sleeping on your mattress in your bedroom! One of the latest innovations in sleep is the memory foam mattress. These little beauties conform to your body with this new space age squishy type foam. It is something you have to feel, it's just too hard to describe other than it is super comfortable. Bedding is another important factor, it ties in your furniture to your overall bedroom design and decor.
OK here is an update. While searching online I have seen many types of furniture, but I was really looking for wood furniture, so I narrowed my search and found the "real" furniture I was looking for, remember my tip! Here is another, I needed seem storage in my bathroom, so I found this site selling bathroom furniture and storage / bathroom cabinets, it takes up almost no room, but adds lots of storage for my towels and such, good deal!

Home furniture differs from other types of furniture like business furniture, school furniture, or church furniture in that it is mainly designed to be utilized in the home. Home is where the heart is remember?
I have many memories of how my grandparents home and my parents home were decorated and furnished as I was growing up. I currently, like many people, have inherited some really cool home furniture pieces. Some might call them family heirlooms. I just like having a little piece of my family in my home!
