Soaring Above The
Clouds With Ms. Dee!
My name is Dee Loyless. I am
currently attending Valdosta State College, where I am studying Early
Childhood and expect to graduate in Spring of 2008.I was born and
raised in
Valdosta and went to lowndes county schools, except for Kindergarten.
I started Kindergarten
at a private school and had a wonderful
experience. I went to elementary and middle school in Hahira until I
started Lowndes
High school in
Valdosta where I graduated in 1989. I then went
to Valdosta State College for two years. I worked at our family
business and decided to get a marketing and management degree at
Valdosta Technical School to help with the business. I graduated with
honors in 1993 and then took time off to raise my oldest son. I started
back to school in 1995 and had to put furthering my education on
hold again when I became pregnant with my twins. I became a
para-pro when my twins started pre-school in 2001 and worked as a
para-pro for three years and loved it, and this is when I decided that
I wanted to be a teacher.
I grew
up in the small town of Valdosta, which is twice the size now. I had a
wonderful family with only one older brother. My family and I have
traveled many places throughout my life that many people never get to
experience. We have been to Colorado, Wyoming, Montana places for
skiing, Bahamas, Hawaii, and London. I love to travel and planning a
trip to Canada and Alaska this summer. I have three wonderful boys, two
dogs named Sparkle and Chloe, a cat named Princess, hamster named Chip
and last but not least a parrot named Cybil, I am a pushover when it
comes to animals.I love children and spending time with family and
friends.
I enjoy
the outdoors whether it's at the beach, mountains or the back yard. I
like hanging out with my family and friends, grilling out, playing
sports, riding four-wheelers, get togethers and just spending time
together. I like to read if I get the chance and swim in the pool.
I like to travel to different places that I have never been
before every year. I hope to travel to Australia and the Virgin Islands
someday soon.
