VSU’s Freshman Year Experience (FYE) is an outstanding student development program that assists first-year students accomplish these tasks. The program is designed primarily for students who have not yet decided on an academic major.
Personally I love this program, my teacher Dr. Tillman was amazing I felt like she really understood me and my problems with school and she was always there to help. I also love my class we all work well together, and I enjoy most of everyone's company. I believe that the freshman year experience program has helped me alot. It chose wonderful teachers for me and even if I had a bad teacher there was always someone there to help tutor me. I would definately recommend this program to all freshman, because coming to college is something totally new and I beleive that everyone needs a little guidance to help get them on the right track. I know I would be totally lost without this program.
