About
Me:
I am currently a Junior at
Valdosta State University; majoring in Early Childhood Education.
My love for education, children, and the arts has persuaded my decision
in my future career. I am a local resident of Valdosta, GA.
Throughout my education I was in the Lowndes County School
System. To further my education I began Georgia Military College
in 2004 and later transferred to Valdosta State in 2006. I have
always known that I wanted to be an educator the hard decision was
deciding on what level to teach.
My
Talents and/or Accomplishments:
In my youth I played the
clarinet and piano. During High School I was a member of the
Georgia Bridgemen and the Dance Team. As a college student I have
received the H.O.P.E. scholarship and have maintained this standing
thus far.
Something
Special I would like to do:
I am very crafty and enjoy
making
lamp shades from beads and other various findings. My dream would
be to travel the world selling my lamps and spreading joy into peoples
lives. My love for music and my want to experience new things
would definitely be my reason for wanting to travel the world and
experience different cultures. I plan on joining the Ameri Core
after graduating to help me to experience these different aspects of
the world. I would more than love to go to underprivileged
countries and help in reconstruction and education. Spreading
knowledge to those in need!
