Doing Assignments
How to use web page links found on the course website:
-
Online textbooks (primary readings) are found in the table of contents
under References
-
You'll link to other WWW pages and sites from the course's weekly pages.
-
There may be other links within the readings or at the bottom of the page
or article you link to. You do NOT need to follow those links unless directed
to do so. Here is an example of where you will follow the links. Note the
use of the word "Access" to indicate which parts:
-
You do NOT need to do exercises or activities you find on those pages unless
told to do so.
E-mailing me assignments:
-
All assignments should be delivered electronically via e-mail unless instructed
otherwise.
-
Each assignment must contain ITED7050 and the assignment number in its
e-mail subject line. Example: ITED7050-1 for assignment one. If
more than one part is sent use ITED7050-1a, ITED7050-1b, and so
on.
-
Any attachment (attached files) should be titled with the assignment number
and your three initials. Example: 1ajb for an attachment to assignment
one.
Sending me clippings from browser pages:
-
Each assignment cut and sent from a web browser should have a short introduction
explaining who it is from and what it covers.
-
If an assignment is submitted in more than one part, each separate e-mail
submission must be clearly labeled so that I know what I'm receiving.
-
Only send me as much information as I need; if you are sending me information
from a WWW page, do not send 10 pages if all the pertinent information
fits on 1 page.
