Re-install Java
The IT Staff at VSU have developed a slightly different method for re-installing the JRE. This process consists of three separate steps:
- Un-installing the current version of the JRE (Java)
- Removing files left behind by the un-installer
- Manually installing the new JRE (Java)

Select Control Panel from the Start Menu.

Open the Item named Add or Remove Programs.
