Listed below are a number of events we participate in throughout the year. You have an opportunity to participate as a College of Nursing student or a pre-nursing student. Please be advised that in order to receive discounts on conventions and leadership events you must be a member of the NSNA. Please see Get Involved with VANS for more information on membership.

VANS provides opportunities for nursing students at Valdosta State University to earn community service hours for various projects we conduct throughout the community. For any question about whether a VANS event is an event will earn you clinical hours, please see your Community as Client instructor or inquire about the event with a VANS executive board member.

NSNA host their national convention each year and VANS members who are paid members of the NSNA/GANS/VANS have the opportunity to attend at a discounted rate. As with the GANS state convention, fundraising participation is encouraged to help defray costs of attendance to the student.
