The Valdosta Association of Nursing Students (VANS) is a student based organization that provides services to the community, mentorship and leadership to other nursing students, and promotes health throughout the community. Some of our students offer student mentorship programs and tutoring, if needed to students.

Some of our major events include fundraising for community groups and the organization, community service projects throughout the surrounding communities, promotion of nursing throughout the community and across all cultures and ethnicities, and convention attendance hosted at the state and national student organization levels that promote leadership and professional development for the student, novice, and even professional nurse.
