S.U.R.G.E.
STUDENTS UNITED FOR REAL GENDER EQUALITY

Students United for Real Gender Equality was founded on the Valdosta State University Campus in the Fall of 2008. The foundation that this organization stands upon is to continually strive to provide an educational and service outlet to the VSU community surrounding the issues of women, gender (including masculinity issues), and sexuality. S.U.R.G.E also stands on the foundation of service by creating opportunities for the VSU community to become active participants in addressing and dealing with issues surrounding women, gender, and sexuality.

Our progress as an organization thus far has been amazing! Its is due though to the dedicated members and allies that make up S.U.R.G.E. Check out our campaign link to see what our organization is doing to provide you with educational and service opportunities.

REMEMBER:
This is an organization that anyone can be apart of. So, if S.U.R.G.E. interests you or you want to learn more come to our weekly meetings held on Tuesdays at 6pm in the Odum Library room 1480. If you have any further questions feel free to contact any of the current officers.
