The Graduate Social Work Organization (GSWO) was formed in 1999 as the local organization for students in the social work program at Valdosta State University. Its purpose is to promote camaraderie and exchange between students at all levels in the program. Each semester social functions are held. Furthermore, each semester a community project is completed. All students in the program are automatically members of GSWO. There is no fee.
