The Valdosta State University Beta Alpha Psi Petitioning Chapter was officially installed as the Mu Zeta Chapter on February 6, 2009 during an installation banquet held at the University Center. Ms Suzanne McCaffrey, director at large, officiated at the installation ceremony. Approximately 46 students, 12 faculty and 5 honorary members were initiated into the chapter during the ceremony. Beta Alpha Psi is the national honors organization for financial information professionals. The Mu Zeta chapter is open to students who are at least a sophomore, have declared accounting or finance as a major, and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.See Installation Ceremony Pictures
